Tool - Stinkfist
Something has to change.
Un-deniable dilemma.
Boredom's not a burden
Anyone should bear.
Constant over stimu-lation numbs me
but I would not want you
any other way.
It's not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said
I don't want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, To feel, to know I'm alive.
Finger deep within the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Relax, turn around and take my hand.
I can help you change
Tired moments into pleasure.
Say the word and we'll be
Well upon our way.
Blend and balance
Pain and comfort
Deep within you
Till you will not want me any other way.
It's not enough.
I need more.
Nothing seems to satisfy.
I said
I don't want it.
I just need it.
To breathe, To feel, to know I'm alive.
Knuckle deep inside the borderline.
This may hurt a little but it's something you'll get used to.
Relax. Slip away.
Something kinda sad about
the way that things have come to be.
Desensitized to everything.
What became of subtlety?
How can this mean anything to me
If I really don't feel anything at all?
I'll keep digging
Till I feel something.
Elbow deep inside the borderline.
Show me that you love me and that we belong together.
Shoulder deep within the borderline.
Relax. Turn around and take my hand.

Quaffer Shot Glass
"The bottom holds 2.5 ounces of whatever chaser you want and the top is a standard 1.5 ounce shot glass. You get the booze and some immediate treatment for its harshness. Even if you never allow bad liquor to hit your lips, these guys are a pretty cool looking addition to any home bar."

Forty-Six & 2

My shadow's
Shedding skin and
I've been picking
Scabs again.
I'm down
Digging through
My old muscles
Looking for a clue.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own confused
And insecure delusions
For a peace to cross me over
Or a word to guide me in.
I wanna feel the changes coming down.
I wanna know what I've been hiding in
My shadow.
Change is coming through my shadow.
My shadow's shedding skin
I've been picking
My scabs again.
I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
And insecure delusions.
I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I've endured within
My shadow
Change is coming.
Now is my time.
Listen to my muscle memory.
Contemplate what I've been clinging to.
Forty-six and two ahead of me.
I choose to live and to
Grow, take and give and to
Move, learn and love and to
Cry, kill and die and to
Be paranoid and to
Lie, hate and fear and to
Do what it takes to move through.
I choose to live and to
Lie, kill and give and to
Die, learn and love and to
Do what it takes to step through.
See my shadow changing,
Stretching up and over me.
Soften this old armor.
Hoping I can clear the way
By stepping through my shadow,
Coming out the other side.
Step into the shadow.
Forty six and two are just ahead of me.

Pink Floyd + Sonnet 18
Sonnet 18
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date;
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

James Steele: America's Mystery Man in Iraq
"Colonel James Steele was a 58-year-old retired special forces veteran when he was nominated by Donald Rumsfeld to help organise the paramilitaries in an attempt to quell a Sunni insurgency. After the Pentagon lifted a ban on Shia militias joining the security forces, the special police commando (SPC) membership was increasingly drawn from violent Shia groups such as the Badr brigades. A second special adviser, retired Colonel James H Coffman, worked alongside Steele in detention centres that were set up with millions of dollars of US funding."

So...that Navy Yard shooting...
REPORTS say that it was a 30-something year old black man (Buddhist at that).
But didn't they say that the man down was a 50 year old white man? And that there were possibly two other shooters?
Did they find them?
Seems a bit weird that they first report a 50 year old white man in fatigues and a possible black accomplice but then report a 34 year old black dude and then cap the story there...

3 years later Halliburton admits guilt but...
So according to this, Halliburton - the company that goes in to rebuild nations, pleaded guilty for their misdemeanor of destroying evidence with regard to the massive oil spill that happened three years ago. The case has been reported to be closed with this admission.
The fine: "The court statement did not disclose the amount, but Halliburton put it at $200,000 and three years' probation."
The damage the oil spill did:
"Halliburton constructed the cement casing of the offshore deepwater Macondo well that exploded on April 20, 2010, killing 11 people."
AND
"It took 87 days to cap the runaway well in a spill that blackened beaches in five states and crippled the region's tourism and fishing industries."
SO:
200,000 USD is hardly enough to cover all of that. Shouldn't Halliburton compensate to the families of the 11 people that died, pay for the cleanup procedure during the spill and the 87 fucking days it took them to cap the well, compensate the 5 states to clean up their beaches as well as the money lost to those regions' tourist and fishing industries?
I know the law doesn't really work that way but...I'm just saying. Seems they got off pretty light - the rule of law seems to be bullshit...
